Hello:
I'm trying to monitor cpu utilisation, system temperature and Disk I/O using SNMP on linux-2.4.20 . It'd be really great if anybody could give me some tutorial urls/book names in this regard. Also could anybody suggest me some more interesting variables related to system performance?
Thanks in advance

I think you missed a few LUG lists on your cross post. Let me see Pune, Mumbai, Delhi,Cochin and Bangalore Lugs are there. What about Calcutta, Mangalore, Chennai .... ?? Wouldn't you like people on that list to answer your questions.

[FYI] It's not because I didn't know how to use BCC, But as a reader, I'm always interested to know who all are reading the same mail - well, just like you :) Hope that answers your question. So could you pelase help me with SNMP now?
Thanks

i'm afraid you havent understood - it is a serious breach of list etiquette to cross post. Check this out and you will understand

Yeah, I agree. But I want someone to help me with SNMP rather than list etiquettes :p. I hope not many people are in simultaneously in these groups as the link Kenneth Gonsalves fired. Thanks

you still have not understood - why should anyone help you when you blatantly refuse to adhere to etiquette.
