Hi, I am planning to use Lynx on my windows box. Problem is that the proxy server is a Micro$soft platform and setup for windows integrated authentication. Due to this reason, I am able to use only Internet Exploder to access net.
Is there any way to set Lynx for windows or SOCKs authentication?

I had been through those links. They point to installation of Lynx which I could do without. My query is not answered with it. But I could get the contact id from site and have sent a mail to it. I'll update you all when the reply comes.

Try the 'NTLM Authentication Proxy Server' - http://www.geocities.com/rozmanov/ntlm/. I use this at office with Lynx, Wget and Firebird. Works perfectly for me. You also need to install Python 2.2 though...

I tried it and it worked beautifully, without a single hitch. Thank you very much for the link Now I dont have to use Internet Exploder alone. Lynx and Navigator works!
One observation: Since the proxy impersonates (obviously), actual server sees you as a IE browser. The HTTP_USER_AGENT string reflects this.
