Downloaded two dvd isos for sarge R4. Havent tested it out yet. If any one is interested get me two branded dvd blanks and collect two sony 8x dvds with the abv.

I am waiting for the debian v 4.0 release. if it wont be a big trouble for you, can you download for me the first 4 cds when it is released? the tools I require come in the first 4 cds which is sufficient for me even when I have no internet connectivity. Guys, this is the right time to try out the wireless linux download idea, I had put up. If Dr. Nagarjun or anyone else could spare his tiny server for the experiment ( in his premises only ) , a WAP is all thats needed. It should not take more than a day to create a slim website with ISOs in it. We have so many web experts on our list. After that we can present the papers on the net for anyone to emulate.

Great. Please publish the url on the list. And hope u have sufficient bw for the night downloaders ;-). Please put the isos too. IIT was one of the debian mirrors but the thing crawled.

512kbps at my place and 1mbps at some customer's place. My point was that several nignt downloaders with the free night schme will hit u. Even with 2Mbps u are going to be saturated initially.

V 4.0 is etch. The first release will be etch R0 I have V3 R4 which is the 4th release of sarge.
