rather I am stressing on the point that you did face the problem and time and time again I did say that you faced it and that it is not true that this did not happen. you can read my previous few emails to confirm this. but the fact is that without telling or instructing any one, every one did the thing in exactly the way open office had kept it.

what it means is that only use that button for a usual task of normal sorting of data. the kind of sorting where even the colour needed to be moved was there in the menu. so sun is clearly making it appear to be different.

(RB) Once cell data moves under any situation, all its contents have to move together. Segregation cannot take place with a cell's data.

and I don't think that JTD said any thing extreme. you seam to fail to realise that most people using m$ software just say "oh, buggs and crashes? computer hang? all this is the part of it and we have no choice ".

(RB) No they don't say that. They say "Rony, after you took over, our problems have practically disappeared and we learnt a lot from your technical description of various processes that we did blindly before". I am not exaggerating, these are real comments.

so people do face daily problems and my experience matches with JTD and many others.

(RB) Many problems are related to third party software. Windows is only a platform.

I will even add that all those professional clients of mine who r now switched to gnu/linux, they all bless me for putting them out of all daily rubbish of windows.

GLUG admins please do something about my email delivery problem. Could you check your logs to see if Yahoo is giving any errors when list mails are delivered to it? Should I switch over to Yahoo India?
