Hello All,
Postfix, mutt and fetchmail are now up and running. Is there any way I can copy a url within a message in mutt in one terminal and paste it in the go option ( go to url) in lynx opened in the second terminal?
How do I secure my fetchmailrc? I tried to make it root only but fetchmail gave a message that user should own the file.
Regards,
Rony.

That depends on your terminal. Since you mention tty[12], I will assume you have gpm running. Highlight the URL with your mouse, switch to the otehr terminal, hit the paste mouse button (right or middle click, I'm never sure which -- depends on your system).

chmod it to something like 600 (that's rw-------).

I am using pure cli terminal, Ctrl+Alt+F1 to F6 so there is no mouse. I want to practice the cli method using keyboard. I have disabled kdm in my rc script and start it manually whenever needed.
I don't know if its possible but can I also use the terminals as tabs for opening lynx links in another terminal (tab) to simulate tabbed browsing?
Regards,
Rony.

gpm is for pure cli. It runs as a daemon - you need to enable it and use it as Satya has suggested.

This is the way some of us used to browse the web in the past. I used to run pine on one terminal, lynx on 3 or 4 terminals and keep the others free for regular shell work.
If you use emacs of course, you just need one terminal.

If you are using GNU/Screen you can paste between its windows with keystrokes.
