Hello people,
As posted earlier, the GLUG has agreed to conduct a workshop at Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College (SAKEC) - Chembur. Thanks a ton folks! Date: 19th. and 20th. of April (third Sat. and Sun.)
The audience for the workshop will comprise of students from 3 engineering streams: a) Electronics b) Information Technology c) Computers
We can expect approx. 100 to150 odd students for the workshop, maybe more. Adequate facilities in terms of infrastructure are in place(lecture hall, LCD projectors, Labs etc.).
Audience background: ----------------- The audience have no clue of what GNU is all about. Some have just heard about "Linux". Zero exposure & practical experience. So we would have to start from scratch but can get technical quickly.
SPEAKERS NEEDED!! ------------------ Speakers are needed for the workshop. Harsh has confirmed himself and Trevor's presence for the same. As Harsh suggested, it would be nice to have people who wanna speak for the first time. Please come forward. It would be a privilege to have Dr. Nagarjuna around. Maybe Harsh and Trevor can take over this and decide the topics and speakers.
You can contact me at 28169393(residence) after 8:30 pm or at 26875452 (office).
Regards, Ashok Iyer

Also let us know who else is involved, perticularly faculty/management, in this workshop, and their contact info.
