Thanks all. Basically the ones feasible for me would be ultramax(dadar) and cms (mazgaon, dadar).
Usually the "front office" or counsellers as they are called may not give the accurate picture about the actual faculty. There could be a real good faculty somewhere but the initial sales pitch could be bad or vice versa.
Any personal experiences? Any faculty of these classes on this list?
Thank you once again.

Ultramax. It is network dedicated and has good equipment. It even has the Sun computers for Solaris classes.

Dear Friend,
I believe it is important to learn GNU/Linux generally so that you are not trapped in a certain Distribution.
Just learning GNU/Linux specifically for RHCE is therefore not the way to go. I know a very good class where they teach GNU/Linux as it should be taught with emphasis on doing Admin level tasks from the command line & by directly editing the required files....making you ready for any GNU/Linux.
I scouted around for many classes bur was disappointed by the astronomical fees or the Unknowledgeable Faculty, etc.
Finally I heard of an institute in Dombivli on the Central Suburban Line called NTMS Training Institute. They are too good and reasonable fees too. They have two Modules. Check out the syllabus & other details at
http://ntmsindia.com/linux.htm
The best thing is that they never advertise, reinforcing the fact that good institutes do not require adverts.
Thogh it may be far, but it is worth every rupee you shall pay......
Hope this helps....
Regards, GNUhas

Evening Gnuhas,
There ofcourse are organisations offering courses on the usage/administration perspective with respect to Gnu-Linux.
Is there anyone who imparts education on the GUI/System/Embedded Development side of Gnu-Linux too in and around bombay?.
Trevor

I think some one like JTD who has done quite a bit of work on GNU/Linux OS in the embedded space might be a ideal candidate for imparting GNU/Linux Training. He seems to have gone on the hibernate mode on this list though :).

This is correct. I knew these guys when I used to live in Dombivli once. They know what they do, and have a good reputation in the computer technician circle (in Dombivli at last).
