dailing problem for internal modem - Linuxers

      Hi,
  I have a Dell inspiron 510m laptop.
from lspci -v it shows.

I installed slmodem modules. it gets the modem through alsa , &
detected by wvdialconf , when below is run.
cartoon:~# slmodemd -c INDIA --alsa
SmartLink Soft Modem: version 2.9.10 Feb  8 2005 14:54:01
symbolic link `/dev/ttySL0' -> `/dev/pts/2' created.
modem `modem:1' created. TTY is `/dev/pts/2'
Use `/dev/ttySL0' as modem device, Ctrl+C for termination.
But dialing doesnt work, there is no sound ( even after adjusting
alsamixer settings - Phone) & it doesnt dial?
What could be the problem. below is output of wvdial trying to dial
vsnl ( 172226 )
