Hello,
I am looking for a locally available and not too expensive workstation motherboard to be used for file sharing running Debian OS for a small organisation. The graphics part is not important but need good SATA, USB3.0 and Gigabit LAN support. I was looking at this one but I feel its more for graphics which I do not need at all. http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8Z77V_PROTHUNDERBOLT/
Any other suggestions?
Budget?

I recently finalized on an entry level server with a SuperMicro board X9SCM-F. It has 4 PCI-e slots for expansion + IPMI 2 (remote management).
I have no idea about it's pricing; I ordered the full system from the system integrator.

I have found another one from the dealer, it is the Asus Z87A. It has a regular VGA port too so I can attach any monitor. It has 6 SATA 6 GB/s ports.
Can a regular desktop SATA HDD be connected to a 6 GB/s SATA port?

Mostly by a system integrator who is an OEM rep. of SuperMicro (there are a few in India).
I was looking for a board with good 3d acclerated graphics for my nephews workstation (architecture stuff). Budget 10~14K.
For the past several years i never cared about graphics, all my stuff being essentially headless.
