Hi India,
I set up a Facebook profile where I can post my pictures, videos and events and I want to add you as a friend so you can see it. First, you need to join Facebook! Once you join, you can also create your own profile.
Thanks, Sudheer

I asked this before, can we block all posts with the words "check out" and "facebook" in subject line ? then we will save the admin team of having to remove these jokers every few weeks from the list.

What about cvs checkout, svn checkout git checkout, etc?
and "facebook" in subject line ?
A facebook greasemonkey plugin, facebook chat protocol foobar, etc.
It does not happen often enough to warrant an automatic script to do this.

If the admins want to do it, it can be done. You can reject all mails that have the words "check out" and the words "facebook" in the subject line at the same time. If you do not want to do it, you can come up with a hundred excuses. In the end is whether you want to make the serve reject it or not.

Good, i am glad to see such a rule in the system.

In addition, for this particular mail, please observe that the mail is sent from facebookmail.com. In addition, I doubt if there would be users who would have the following custom headers in their e-mails:
X-Facebook: from zuckmail ([MTAuMTYuMTYwLjIwNg==]) by 10.16.160.206 with HTTP (ZuckMail); X-Facebook-Notify: general_invite; mailid=18e6d6dG1e8d944bG0G8 X-FACEBOOK-PRIORITY: 1
Of course, I have never administered a mail server or mailing list, so if what I say isn't sensible, please excuse me.
Thanks.

We do not ban people. We ban email addresses. Since the email address you have used on facebook is "compromised" we suggest that you use another email address to participate in the mailing list.
The (anti?)-social web sites have tendency to send these SPAM again and again without consent of the user as "reminders".
Go ahead and unsubscribe the original "compromised" email address and subscribe using alternate email address.
Thank you for cooperation. With regards,

The filter rules are in place, and caught 2 mails from Facebook last night.

Assuming these are Mailman rules, can you please share them? Other lists could also benefit!
