it is giving so many errors that I can't even post on this list. what could be the problem?

am I missing some packages on my ubuntu 6.06 server? I have the build-esssential package installed which probably has installed glib libc 6 etc along with gcc 4 and make. now I want to knwo what else is remaining? it appears to me that even ncursis is also installed although I am not quite sure of the same.

I think the curses-devel package is also necessary. Please check if you have that or not.
