Debian ? Has got a repository of around 6000 packages. Which can be installed with a single command without worrying about the dependencies.
3] mosr powerfull distro ?
I don't know what do u mean by power. But redhat is now available for 64-bit itanium processors.
4] most stable distro ?
Most of the distribution are stable. But I think RedHat and Debian stable versions are currently the most stable distros.
In case of Debian it is because they have a very strict procedure to include a package in stable release. Redhat has got very nice hackers (like Alan Cox).

Debian :-)
