Thanks for showin interest, I dont have = practical knowledge
about how to alter the kernel for Nokia but I have good= knowledge about what features are available in particular phone(Nokia), wh= at OS it has and what are its limitations also how we can enhance it. I kno= w what kind of hardware is required for transffering stuff to Cell (not MMS= n Tones it uses different Cable). I suppose if few enthusiasts show inetre= st in this we can give it a try and I'm sure we can do it as nothings impos= sible.

Since Motoralla is already using Linux OS on one of the phones, perhaps we can get hold of the source code and made modifications to it.
The question is whether the OS Source Code is available or not.....Whether it is GPL or not.......

Visit linux.org -> Distributions link on the left of the page. I remember noticing a distro which is meant for cell phones and embeded devices (If my memory supports me, it was from siemens). Check that out, probably that is the one you are looking for.
