Hi All
I plan to buy AMD processor : ATHLON 3000+ 939 with motherboard : MSI 7093 RS 480. I just want to know the following :
a) Is there any heating problem with AMD ? b) Or is it safe bet to go in for Intel P4 3 ghz ?

No, I have been running AMD64 3000+ (socket 754) on MSI K8NeoT mobo for over a year. Keep your case well ventilated and use a couple of fans.
b) Or is it safe bet to go in for Intel P4 3 ghz ?

Am running an MSI mobo with an older AMD Athlon 1.4Ghz. Should say...its a wonderful combination and is what one would call Value for Money unlike Intel.
