Hi, I have configured the qmail and it is working on two of the machines over my LAN. I have given have given names to the two hosts and local domain as well. My locals file contains : mailmladelhi.mladelhi.mine.nu My defaultdomain file contains: mladelhi.mine.nu

locals file on other machine contains : ashwin.mladelhi.mine.nu defaultdomain file contains: mladelhi.mine.nu

Now i have three users on both the machines and one of them is aliased for postmaster, mailerdaemon. I am successful in sending and receive mails among the local users on each machine. But when i try to send mails from an user from one machine to the other, it does not receive the mails. I checked the /var/log/qmail/current file which says:

I am using the /var/qmail/bin/sendmail command to send the mails. Can anybody let me know what is the mistake I am committing. Is this a DNS issue or setting up of MX records. I want that the mails should be exchanged among different machines using qmail over LAN with the email address e.g. user@ashwin.mladelhi.mine.nu or user@mailmladelhi.mladelhi.mine.nu..
