All the mail has at the bottom is the ILUG-BOM mailing list page address. People often ignore it. Adding a few words like 'for unsubscribing or changing options visit http***' etc would help a little IMHO.

And if you go to the site listed there ... unsubscribing is mentioned only once, on the last line of the page. Maybe all the clueless people do have a point ... we need to make that particular page more clear about all the different things one can do from there.
The problem is that the part about managing account settings is just one line, after a big para about admin access and all that. I myself tend to overlook that small line most of the time!

Actually, all the mails have list management information in them. People should start using good email clients like pine that actually show you this information instead of hiding it. For example, when I read a mail, I get a whole load of information that says
To subscribe, send mail to ... or go to ... To unsubscribe, send mail to ... or go to ... To post, send mail to ... To get help, send mail to ...
All these things are present in every single mail sent through the list.
