I used 'cleanlinks' command i wiped out the rc.d files and now my box is jumbled ....itz just not booting :( ... is there any way i can just get the rc.d ( of all init levels ) for my distro available ?

Are you loco? Why in the world did you run that? Its dangerous to run a command if you dont really know whats it gonna do! Anyway, which distro are you using?

That's how one learns :) If you have a non production box, I encourage you to experiment without fear of frying your system. If you have a production box, heck, experiment anyway, but be prepared to forget about sleeping. You'll soon become a highly paid consultant with the kind of problems you come across.

Yeah, I experiment. But with QEMU, BOCHS, M$ VPC :)
