i just got a FEDORA CORE 3 installation CD pack of 4 i started installing and i completed the HDD partitioning. and labeling but after that it just hangs. i mean the GUI just starts being funny,the screen merges into one another when i press next. one more thing, i tried around 4 types of mice, ps/2, 2 serial port, USB. all of them get detected during the initial screen as it tells me what kind of mouse is connected. but after that i cannot operate the installation. i mean the mouse doesnt work at all. can anyone help out? can anyone tell me what do i do?

looks like a problem with the memory of your graphics card. In the bios set the legacy memory to the maximum possible - 8 or 16 mb and try

A similar thread was on Redhat's Fedora List. The user was advised to boot the cd with 'nocddma' option at the grub prompt. See of this works.
