Have a look at /lib/modules/[kernel-version]/
check /proc/modules
one utility is there to find info about LKM (Loadable kernel Modules)
utility name -- kstat url : http://s0ftpj.org/en/site.html
read the docs .... read the man .. rtfm ...
u'll come to know the ans of ur question :-)

lsmod command will help u. man lsmod for more details.
