I don't have a dvd player. Can you convert the dvd into cds? I know you must be busy but could you?

Rony.
Sorry thats not possible. You cant break a DVD ISO into many CD ISOs...
I think that could be possible. The DVD can be extracted and the pool can be divided into several CDs. Then recreate the pool on target machine's harddisk. We did something like this at last GLUG meet :-)
Just splitting the cd wont help. U will also require to maintain the packages in the right order if you wanna use a cd install. So you will have to get the packages.gz file for each cd and copy only those packages from the dvd to a partition, then use dpkg - scan package to create the new packages.gz file, then burn the lot to cd. Quite a pain. I dont know of a simple method. Of course a perl or bash script could automate the whole process. But i find dvd to be better by far.

Hence, my simple answer ;)
