The Salary shd be no less than 12k take home if the guys exceptionally talented, no need for much exp.

A good C on GNU-Linux\Unix programmer with one year exp shd get no less than 20,000 take home.

Tests and interviews shd be kept rigourous but salary shd not be a compromise for the right talent.
