Flightnetwork.com is a leading Canadian travel portal. We launched just four years ago. Within that short period, we've already overtaken several established organizations to claim the second position in the Canadian online travel market. All our websites are built on an extended LAMPP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PostgreSQL and Perl). Our Linux platform of choice is Debian GNU/Linux, though some of our developers do use Ubuntu on their workstations.

We're currently recruiting heavily for our India development team. At this time we have positions open for engineers with skillsets in Perl and/ or Python on the Linux platform coupled with a deep knowledge of XML and related technologies such as SOAP, as well as the MySQL and PostgreSQL database systems. Prior experience in the travel industry is an asset, as is knowledge of C++. Candidates can choose to work either remotely out of their home or from our India development office in Ahmedabad.
