Dear Luggers,
Do any one plz. suggest me that in Linux if i press
up/down arrow keys then the previous commands will
come. That is History....But how could i remove the
History....Complete and Partial also.
Plz. suggest me some solution....

history -c ---> clears all history
delete partially from .bash_history in your home directory

if you are using Bash shell, history of your commands will be in
$HOME/.bash_history, remove the contents of the file, but it will contain
only the history of previous session.
to remove the history of current session command is "history -c".

Appraently this is not the best solution since
everytime you will need to delete the contents.
There is an variable that you can set to set history
to 0 but if you just need to delete history everythime
you logout just add the cat thing in .bash_logout if
not there create it.
if you are using Bash shell, history of your

$HOME/.bash_history, remove the contents of the
file, but it will contain
only the history of previous session.
to remove the history of current session command is
"history -c".

If u're using BASH (Mostly u'll be) , then u can open
.bash_history in any of ur fav. editor and edit those commands ..
For resetting the history I'd use
$ cat > .bash_profile
Ctrl+d
This file will be in ur login directory, better known as Home
directory ..
Plz. suggest me some solution....

i assume that you are talking about the bash shell
(command prompt)
well in that case all your previous commands are
stored in a file in your home directory called
.bash_profile
you can either delete it (to remove history)
or edit with any text editor(to remove selected items)
