Hi friends,
i am having a major problem with NFS server on rh9. i am running ltsp 3.0 based thin clients.
the server takes time to boot. when it reaches #starting NFS its holds there for 5 mins and then go on. the clients do not start because of this.
there is no error message. even while doing #service nfs restart. this happens. it goes to #starting nfs and holds there for sometim and then goes on.
can some one help me out with this.
can some one also tell me how to uninstall the nfs server from rh9. that is removing the whole rpm(s). so that i can use the new NFS rpms.
thanks a lot. this is very urgent. kindly be a little explanatroy. but otherwise will also help. thanks again.

First query for the installed NFS rpms by # rpm -qa |grep nfs
it will give you the listing of nfs rpms installed .... then issue the following command to remove them
# rpm -e nfs-<version>
then reinstall .....
good luck
