PHP 5 Beta 1 was released a few days ago. I took for a test-drive and found the new OO features to be totally cool.

To be specific a lot of things have been redone it seems: 1. Constructors as well as destructors 2. Streams have been redone 3. libxml2 is being used for XML parsing 4. SQLite engine 5. Zend 2 Engine
