i had 3 partitions on my 20 GB HDD. C: with win98 OS(5 GB) D: DATA (win98) (10 GB) NonDos Mandrake (5 GB)
After installing Mandrake 7.1, on the 3rd partition of 5 GB (Non DOS), and the other 2 with win98 partitions, i m not able to access my D: drive.
I checked with DOS Fdisk it showed D: as NonDOS, and with Mandrake Install CD, it showed win98.
Pls help me, as i have no back of my data.

boot into linux and run cfdisk. Cfdisk will display the partition table. Check the type (should be fat32 lba). Post the results to the list.

If you have installed Mandrake, then boot into it. Since it is able to see the partion as win98, then mount it and recover your data.
