Its a little tricky... What you have to do is: * Boot from the remastered CD, * when the gui comes up, then make your changes to the default themes, these changes would be saved to the default users home directory < /home/knoppix/ > * when you're done with changing themes, wallpapers etc... then copy the /home/knoppix directory to some other location, like say a mounted partition * reboot and take your cd out. Now in the modfiles, copy the contents of /home/knoppix that you took a backup of, to /etc/skel * write a line in the /etc/init.d/knoppix-autoconfig file that copies the contents of /etc/skel/* forcefully to /home/*/
