what i have done i will explain : i am back from PEN [ where my college is ] i put the complete idea abt Linux Awareness & Projects in front of HOD & Students association the seminar is fixed in FEB or so .

### i will be taking these things in college as a Seminar cum TALKSHOW ! ######## what you think abt it ? i want more material regarding projects ? software & hardware projects ? _ very important now do not ask me to search Sourceforge.net ,,,,,, i have seen , but at our best can provide or suggest to students that i want . still i think Degree eng . students do not get enough time to develop the projects . that's a fact ! so better we should see them in other way .......we can only make awareness of linux among them . for giving PROJECTS we sould find other audience [ other than deg. eng students , at least not in electronics ( Hardware ) ] we should approach Comouter branch & give a Try . if you want i can go to any of the college & will give brief idea abt " why Linux ? " to GET THEIR INTEREST not to teach them anything at that moment ! i have tried in my college like this : " they just know or may be not ( in some cases ] abt LINUX " , heard abt it " , haven't seen , Will only like know abt it , Not to use it at this moment ! _______ Students said so !

Why LINUX ? Where can it can be ? why better than MS win ? which projects we can give ? who we are in LINUX World ? sir these details are EXTREMELY important ! i am Graphic gesigner so i will be able to make LINUX wallpaper [ by my own ] if get the BEST Punch lines & the above details ! so let me know abt what you think abt : My research on student my idea my vimp request abt linux pulicity material

in league with what we have been thinking all along. We have come up with a whole lot of ideas which we need to deliberate on and have proposition tasks to be delegated to a whole lot of us.
Since....the Expo/Conference is due next year April 2003 and we also have the OSDNI coming up with 2 workshops mid december, i am proposing we have a Gnu-Linux geeks picnic filled with fun-nd-talks.....:)
What say....in december...how does it sound.??. It would be a luvely venue to formulate ideas on the issues at hand and also listen to some good people from the LUG speak on some core topics.
On the lines of geek cruises....:)

--> Open Source Developers Network and --> Gnu- Linux Expo/Conference --> Listen to a few coew speakers speak on Gnu-Linux..
