I agree... but mandrake doesn't come with wvdial.
What I am looking for is a neat utility like weave dial *on Mandrake* to configure PPP. I don't wanna use chatscripts.

Try considering eznet internet dialer for your needs. Its a simple program and is easy to compile(In fact it's requires compiling only a single C file with gcc). I have been using it for my internet needs-- connecting to VSNL. You can find the code at http://www.hwaci.com/sw/eznet I believe that you will love using it, just as I do.
