A 4-day course on Artificial Neural Networks is being held at NCST, Kharghar campus from 10th to 13th March, 2003. The course is open to all those who are interested in the field of neural networks, and assumes no background either in NN or AI. As you know neural networks are being applied heavily in a variety of disciplines from finance, diagnosis, pattern recognition, etc.
The course will start with simple perceptron systems and will cover back-propagation based multi-layer perceptron systems, Radial basis function networks, Hopfield networks, and Self organising maps. Guidelines for developing neural network models will also be explored. Participants will explore the various frameworks using a NN development kit, for various data sets so as to get a clear understanding of their functioning and utility.
