I need to advise a client on which "time & attendance" system to acquire, to replace an ailing/legacy DOS based one.
I am keen to review/recommend a (open standards) solution rather than propietary (read M$) based quotes received todate.
I am sorry for being little naive here, but is it a NTP based system which you are currently seeking ? Or is it something else ?

A system with swipe cards which logs employee attendance, rather than employees signing a large register.
