hello, i was interested in knowing as to whehter kernel 2.4.21 would have to be patced to get dev-mapper support. because in menuconnfig it just shows lvm. whereas in new kernels it shows specificly dev-mapper support. ?

any ideas guys. actally my aim is to setup lvm without havin to patch or upgrade the kernel ?
