Derwyn, with official do you mean those classroom style meets? I'm sure someone from us would be willing to give a talk, like Rajeev RK was going to demonstrate how to boot from GRUB to GNOME in 60 seconds.

Ya coffee, and little bit of crow's shit :)

Hey All,
I was unfortunately stuck with an assignment, so i was out of circulation during the period of the meet. However, a lug classroom style meeting is definitely on the cards. Maybe next month, we can go ahead with it. The grub-to-gnome idea is a possibility, or perhaps a primer on advanced shell scripting, or even oracle 10g + compiere ERP/CRM Installation ;)
we just need to co-ordinate it well...
Regards
R. K. Rajeev

Oops.. sorry... got a bit lazy there...
Blame it on a hectic schedule and lots of sleep deprivation ;)

It was a nice meet and one thing that I got to learn was that media players don't ship with codecs so they have to be manually loaded in the players. The best part of this is that it has to be simply downloaded and copy/pasted into the default folders eg. /usr/lib/win32. Meeting the gurus is an enlightening experience.
Looking forward to more meets. :)
Regards,
Rony.

How about putting the minutes of the meet on the Wiki. There is a section for that. We need to populate it, don't we?
