Hi,
Was wondering whether, there could be some sort of "personalization" to the mailing list members. What do I mean by this, is very simple! Though the thought of having this appears to be quite easy but I really dont know how this mailing list is actually made up!
In every email received, I get the list of subjects and I have to scroll down to any specific subject. Instead, Could anchor links given to those subjects to directly jump to a specific topic?

Why not subscribe to the list in immediate mode (I forget what it's called) instead of digest mode?

index mode i guess?? and ya dding to that if you can use a something like a gmail account that groups mails into a conversation.. This will make the task of reading all mails in relation to the subject of your choice a lot easier...

"Individual", I think that's what mailman calls it.

Don't need gmail, mutt and I think pine can do it. I don't care about anything else.

you're probably subscribed to the mail digest. better to subscribe to individual mails, and use your mail inbox is the so called anchors that you want.
secondly, we don't send out html mails, we send text mails. text has no concept of hyperlinks.
third, if you really want a new feature for the mailing list software, write it yourself and send a patch. we'll consider adding it.
