That was actually a good debate which highlighted the fact that your login and password information is being supplied by you to third party agencies. I have been using Gaim for a while now and i admit that i had not thought about this unintentional breach till Philip and others pointed it out.

Now you may call this nitpicking, Please realize that the list goes to many people (over 700?) and not everyone wants to read every mail. So in this case, your subject line was inappropriate. it said "Interesting". Had you provided more details in the subject line itself most people would not have clicked on it only to see a 2 bit liner.

It could have been, "Interesting Observation. Group quarrels on trivial ISSUES <EOM>". "Nitpicking Group demoralized me. <EOM>". "No matter what you say, I am right. <EOM>". "You guys suck. Rishi Rules <EOM".

Please have a meaningful subject line. There are some general rules for being on any mailing list that can be googled and then there are list specific rules that can be accessed from the introduction mail sent to you.

My unsolicited 2 cents would be to remember that nothing is personal. To dont take it that way.
