Hi all,

I am having a PIII 733,256MB Ram machine with Rtl 8029 Ethernet card, in which I have installed Mandrake Linux. I have also installed Appache, Tftp,NFS, DHCP servers in the machine. I am having a diskles Celron 800, 64MB Ram machine with Rtl 8139 ethernet card.

I have gone through entire LTSP Documentation and installed the Core, Kernal for rtl 8139 and bootpd rpms in server. Also I have downloaded the rtl8139 ethernet image file and tried to boot the diskless node from floppy.

While I am trying to boot, I am geting the following error message in the node and I am not able to connect to the server.

Searching for server(BOOTP)... . Me 192.168.0.1, Server 192.168.0.254, Gateway 192.168.0.254 Loading 192.168.0.244: /tftpboot/lts/vmlinuz.rtl8139... TFTP error 1 (File not found) Unable to load file <sleep> <abort>

The file vmlinuz.rtl8139 file is available in the location /tftpboot/lts/ I had added the following lines in /etc/xinetd.conf tftp dgram udp wait root /usr/sbin/tcpd in.tftpd bootps dgram udp wait root /usr/sbin tcpd bootpd Also I have configured the /etc/bootptab file by specifying the MAC address of the rtl 8139 card (workstation). (In the work station the address was displying as 00:02:44:0A:A7:20. However in the bootptab file default was continuous alphanumarls like AABB03CDBC. I have modified the MAC address as it is shown in node)

PLEASE SUGGEST ME HOW TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.
