Dear Friends,

In my experiment to load the edumorphix from the grub of the existing Redhat, I have now been able to boot that partition hda12 using this script in my grub.conf file....

title Debian GNU/Linux (with LILO) root (hd0,11) kernel (hd0,11)/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.25-lck1 root=(hd0,11)/

The trouble area was the last line which was earlier root=/dev/hda12, which I tried with root=(hd0,11)/ and it was accepted.

However after the initial startup messages, I get a kernel panic message. Any ideas?

Does debian panic when it faces windows users? :-)
