XL Dynamics, Inc. is headquartered in Los Angeles, CA. It is the only company offering an n-tier, web based ERP solution to major US & Canadian banks and financial institutions. It is rapidly expanding its Mumbai operations.
We have following requirements.
Linux Administrator :- 1 position.
Technical Requirements:- · Linux experience with SAMBA, CVS( will be a plus), NIS, APACHE, QMAIL,SENDMAIL. . Installation & configuration of linux servers. Operational knowledge about Redhat linux OS. . Kernel recompiling, patching using up2date etc. . Strong foundation in DNS, TCP/IP Protocol Suite,POP, SMTP, IMAP etc.. · TCP/IP and all program suites (FTP, DHCP, DNS, WWW) and the ability to configure. · Knowledge about IP Tables/Firewall. . RAID configuration and support is a plus. . Advance networking concepts like bandwidth queuing, bandwidth accounting is a plus. . Any linux certification is a plus. . NT 4.0 / Windows 2000 Server Administration, Installation and Configuration is a plus. . Should be having a minimum of 3+ years of experience. . Knowledge of Windows is a plus.

No, I think admin has put things absolutely correctly. People on the list should at least follow standard mailing list protocol. there is no need to be subtle about this, nor gentle. I think admin has put it absolutely correct and proper.....dont do this again, or we will put you on a moderated status. At the same time it also puts every one else (all newbies) on the list on alert that they should not be doing this either
But please dont let this get on to becoming another debate on how strict we should be.
