Hi I have a Qmail server running on a machine, running samba, configured on a window$ network. I want to take regular backups of the emails from the Qmail MailDir.(Maybe a cron job or something) Please suggest a good way to do so. Thanks Hozefa.

You would need to write shell script to dump the mails from maildirs to the windows server over samba. More over you may face problems saving it on FAT, since the filename utilized for each mail would be unacceptable by Windows FAT / NTFS both. So practically you wont be able to dump the direct mail files, unless you zip and store the zip files.
