Hi all,

Please guide me to solve out this networking problem.

I have installed Mandrake Linux in my PIII 733 256MB Ram machine which is having RTL 8029 Ethernet card. I have also installed NFS,Appache,DHCP servers.

My challenge is to boot a diskless node using LTSP (Linux terminal server project). I have gone through the doucments LTSP (ltsp.org), downloaded and installed the respective Kernal, Core and SVGA rpms in my server.The dhcpd.conf and host.allow file also configured. Also I had downloaded the Ethernet image file for rtl 8139 card and made an ethernet image floppy for booting the node.

While booting the node with ethernet image floppy, the MAC address of the card is is displying properly and finally it is giving a message that searching DHCP server and start searching and login Window is not appearing on the screen. The cables and connections are perfect from server to node through a hub. (I had tried another 486 machine using Xdenu and Telnet was working fine with the same cabling)

If any body had configured the disklessnode using LTSP, please help me to sort out the problem
