Hello,
I have recently moved to GNU/Linux,
I recently installed Google Earth and iam unable to change the display to show up completely to my desktop resolution (1280x1024). It just shows up half way. Any ideas? Everything else working perfectly or i just do not know if anything is malfunctioning.
Background: Newbie yet not so newbie user. Been exposed to linux since rh 5.3 but limited to just basic functionality and have moved to linux completely only now. If there is any more information you would like to have please let me know,
onboard i810 intel 865 chipset, 2.4 GHz, 256 mb ram, swap around 700mb.
Thank you in advance. Sachin G. Nambiar snambiar.com IPH email:bomlug@snambiar.com

please refrain from top posting...
by 'NOT' top posting you meant posting below the reply? Apologies, not used to being on any lists.
Btw i upgraded to ubuntu 6.10, Google earth works like a charm :) thank you.

I don't know what he meant, but NOT top posting does not mean put your reply below the original - at least not in all cases. You should put your reply interleaved with the original, and delete unnecessary parts of the original, leaving only what is necessary to maintain context.
search the web for top-posting for more details.
