hi friends,
i have installed a linux redhat 9 as a server. it runs proxy and samba. it also has 2 thin clients. and 2 windows clients.
now just a few days back, the file system crashed. i had to load and configure the whole thing again.
can some explain to me why this happened as from next time i can take precautionary measures.
thanks a lot.

how did it crash? - when did it crash? if it crashed while running, and if you didnt do any config changes before it crashed it means a hardware problem

It is better to update your new installation, use apt-get to update your new redhat 9.0 system.
