Hi
I am a newbie to the list and linux. Lately i installed Sarge 3.1 and when i try to surf the net from root i can but when i try to do the same from user, mozilla says "Website not found" Same with GAIM, Kopete and others.
SO presently i pull up my terminal and issue the su command and from there fire mozilla to surf. Is there a way where i can surf as a normal user. I channged pppd
to suid "chmod 4660 /usr/sbin/pppd" even that doesn't work.
Can somebody help me here.

Just see if this helps. Add this line below in your kppp in the script 'After Connect' section or simply su after connecting to the net and issue the same command. Logout from su and check if you can surf.
'route add default ppp0' without the quotes.
