Dear Linuxers,

I'm new to Linux and using all REDHAT Linux , I am tring to configure VSFTPD on my machine where AS2.1 is installed.

By default it is not there ( default : ws-ftpd )

Pls guide me ,

How do i install VSFTPd which support my AS2.1 kernal ?

Is the kernal really matter while installing additional RPM.?? confused
