Can I use getch in C program with using gcc? Do i have to insert some header? Or can I use it by doing something else? Is there any substitue function for it?
Please Help! Thanks in advance!

getch is not a standard C function. it is a borland extension.
you'll want to look at ncurses - another extension, but one that is portable.

getchar() or getc() refer to their respective man's for help.

stdio.h

The main difference is getch() waits for the input from the user, while getchar() is not waiting.
