About changing the runlevel, what did you try? You may want to look at /etc/inittab and change the default runlevel from 5 to 3.

New subject: How do I make my own CD distro ?
Hi all, I wanted to make my own installable CD distro. I started with Linux From Scratch document and am almost up with it. If anyone can please guide me on how to make distros like redhat/debian/etc, I will be grateful.
