Mirrors will cause loss in some components of polarised light depending on the angle of reflection. In order for your screen not to flip over, you'll need two mirrors. Just thinking in my head right now, I think that this would cause significant loss of horizontally polarised light. Furthermore, having two mirrors would effectively quadruple the distance between the user and the monitor causing eyestrain.
Note: my terminology may be off, it's been 10 years since I last studied optics.
