You might want to include a topic the next time you write an email to the LUG. For your problem, the following sites might help http://www.sequel.demon.co.uk/opti.html http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/ The latter will probably provide you the drivers u need. It might also be a good idea to check on /etc/rc.d/rc.modules to see if there is a module that supports your sound card. If there is one, then just uncomment that, if not then use ALSA. HTH,
