I am planning to upgrade my PC. The new config will be AMD Athlon XP 2400 Processor on a Asus board. I would like to know how linux performs on AMD processors. Any trouble or smooth as silk?

I m happy with athlon xp 2000+ 256 mb ram ... rh8 ... rh9 ... knoppix .. indlinux have not created any problems yet.
