The problem is solved but not totally. I'm succesful to change the screen resolution, but still the the screen looks like oval shaped [ something like this (__) ] & not rectangle. I tried all the possiable resolutions with

Usually this is a monitor problem. Are you sure you tried the controls on the monitor.
